Pine Early American Pastry Island
Some pieces of furniture become sweetened from the memories made around them. This was the most used piece in Mom's kitchen. Her island was crafted of sturdy pine planks.

Butternut was another favorite wood the settlers used for such pieces, which we offer along with many other fine woods.

The drawers were made to pull out from either direction. The two bottom drawers were used for potatoes and onions. The marble top was her choice for rolling out pie crusts. Children and friends used to stand all around it and help make pies, cookies or can pickles.

It measures 52" long x 26" deep x 36" high (also available at bar height). This island was made with turned legs for an open look and feel. We can help design your kitchen and/or pastry island to suit your decorating flavor.
